Alexander’s dad is proudly serving his country in the military, and has been deployed for extended periods of time. During his last deployment, Alexander underwent a complicated surgery, and continues to cope with ongoing health complications from a congenital medical condition. Through it all, he’s been understanding, even though it’s been very difficult at times.
He’s had multiple surgeries, procedures and challenges since birth, yet remains positive and has a zest for life.
“He is resilient and has been through a lot, but seems like just another day waiting to be won,” said his mom. “He doesn’t let much ruin his day, and I am in awe of him.”
